X3, are they worth it? Hey, so I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on a 2021 X3 and wondering if it is super reliable as I plan to keep it for at least 8-10 years? Also wondering what the maintenance costs are like? Worth noting I'm not new to luxury German cars (currently have a MB C300) and I know they are more to maintain than others!

Which year BMW X3 M40i to go for I'm looking to buy a used BMW X3 M40i, but stuck on which model year to go for. Either 2020, 2021, or 2022. They all have the same HP and and idrive 7. I know the 2022 has the 48V mild hybrid system, but it doesn't seem to be a must have. Are there any other major differences I should consider between these.

It's Been Almost A Year. I'm Still Obsessed (2018 X3 M40i) : R/BMW
The x3 m40i is better and worth the 10k or so extra. The 4 cylinder bmw is meh, defiantly not their best motor Reply reply j_yn0htna.

Progressive in Wisconsin, have my wife's 22 m3 LR and my '18 f150 crew 4x4. We pay roughly $1400 for 6/mo. So $233/mo. Both 29, she has no accidents or tickets, I have one claim that should fall off this year from when I was getting my boat out of the lake and didn't put my truck all the way into park and it rolled back a few feet with my door open and the door hit a pole and bent all.
