Kia and Hyundai are just two of the many car companies that provide a wide range of SUVs. But which SUV Is Better: Hyundai Or Kia? Let's have a look.
I'm looking for a midsize (I think) SUV, mainly for the space/cargo and best value (quality). I plan to buy within the next 6 months and want something under 40k OTD. It seems like it's getting narrowed to a Hyundai Santa FE, Kia Sorento, Honda CRV, or Toyota Rav 4. Is one significantly better than the other, am I missing a better choice, what's your experience? Thoughts?
Are Hyundai and Kia essentially the same thing? I'm looking at new cars (in the US) with a budget of around 22k which will probably be around 24k after taxes and fees. So the cheaper the better. I would get a CPO car if the market wasn't so fucked. My options seem to be: Hyundai Venue, Kia Soul (ugly af), or Nissan Versa.

Yeah every brand has problems, but only Kia and Hyundai have issues with being insured, and getting broken into several times within the span of half a year and having your steering collum ripped apart.
KIA tends to have sportier styling where Hyundai is generally more refined. Compare the exterior and interior of the KIA K5 and the Hyundai Sonata for instance.

I do not currently own a Hyundai, leasing a Kia Stinger, but I'm cross shopping hybrid SUV. Found this video here from Korea comparing the RAV4 and Tucson hybrid models. I've test driven the RAV4 hybrid Limited, there are zero Primes in my area. That said, I'm waiting for my local dealer to get the new 2022 Tucson so I can test drive it. I prefer the looks over the RAV4, if price and MPGs are.
